  • glitter or edible shimmer optional, for sparkle

  1. Spread the sugar evenly across a shallow plate or tray to create a soft, white background.
  2. Use a dropper, spoon, or squeeze bottle to add small drops of food coloring across the sugar. Create a rainbow or experiment with color blending.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the baking soda with warm water until dissolved.
  4. Gently spoon the baking soda mixture over random spots on the sugar to initiate a gentle fizz.
  5. Slowly drizzle vinegar over the colorful areas. Watch as fizzing, swirling colors erupt into a bubbly, mesmerizing display.
  6. Sprinkle glitter or edible shimmer over the top for an extra magical touch (optional).
