Ingredients
1 ¾ cups heavy cream
1 cup sweetened condensed milk
½ cup whole milk
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ cup chocolate fudge, melted (store-bought or homemade)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional: 3 egg yolks (for a custard-style version)
Instructions
-
In a medium bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, cocoa powder, whole milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
-
In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks using a hand mixer.
-
Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until fully combined.
-
If using egg yolks for extra richness, temper them with a bit of the chocolate base, then fold in.
-
Pour half of the mixture into a loaf pan or freezer-safe container. Drizzle half of the melted fudge on top and swirl gently with a knife.
-
Repeat with the remaining base and fudge.
-
Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight, until firm.
-
Scoop and enjoy straight from the freezer—no machine required!
Notes
Use high-quality chocolate fudge for best flavor.
To reduce sugar, opt for dark chocolate fudge and unsweetened cocoa powder.
For added texture, fold in chopped nuts or mini marshmallows before freezing.
Vegan? Use coconut cream, plant-based condensed milk, and dairy-free fudge.
