This Chicken and Shrimp Stir Fry is a vibrant, protein-packed dish that’s perfect for busy weeknights. Made with tender chicken, juicy shrimp, and a colorful array of vegetables tossed in a savory garlic-ginger sauce, it’s a quick and healthy meal the whole family will love.
Ingredients
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cups broccoli florets
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 carrot, thinly sliced
1 small onion, sliced
3 tbsp vegetable or canola oil, divided
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
Optional: sesame seeds and green onions for garnish
Instructions

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and honey or brown sugar to create the stir fry sauce. Set aside.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden and cooked through (5–7 minutes). Remove and set aside.

Add another tbsp of oil to the pan. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque (2–3 minutes). Remove and set aside with the chicken.

Add the final tbsp of oil to the pan. Stir-fry broccoli, bell pepper, carrots, and onion for 5–7 minutes or until tender-crisp.

Return chicken and shrimp to the pan. Pour sauce over all ingredients and stir well to coat. Cook for 2–3 more minutes, allowing sauce to thicken slightly.

Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
Cook on high heat and avoid overcrowding the pan to achieve proper stir-fry texture.
Substitute shrimp or chicken with tofu or tempeh for a vegetarian version.
Add chili flakes or Sriracha for a spicy twist.
Serve with rice or noodles for a more filling meal.
