1 cup light brown sugar, packed
½ teaspoon salt
12 tablespoons unsalted butter, frozen

¾ cup shredded coconut
14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
For the Topping:
40 vanilla caramels
¼ cup whole milk
1 cup milk chocolate chips
Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
-
In a large bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and salt. Grate in the frozen butter and mix until crumbly.
-
Press the mixture into a 9×13-inch baking pan and bake for 15 minutes.
-
Sprinkle oats and coconut evenly over the warm crust.
-
In a small bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, then drizzle evenly over the oats and coconut layer.
-
Bake again for 25 minutes until the top is golden and set.
-
Meanwhile, melt caramels and milk together in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
-
Pour the melted caramel over the baked layers.
-
Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly on top and finish with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt.
-
Allow the bars to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Grating frozen butter ensures an even, crumbly crust.
Warm your knife before slicing for cleaner cuts.
Customize by swapping coconut for nuts or additional oats if desired.
Store in an airtight container for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
